Epping RSL Bowls Club was originally founded around 1993, by a small group of Epping RSL members.
In 2000 the Epping RSL Committee took on the challenge to install 2 greens. The construction of synthetic greens commenced in June 2003 and was officially opened on the 16th of November 2004.
The synthetic greens are now gone and have been replaced with 2 grass greens (Tiff Dwarf).
Since the club’s inception, we have participated in the Metropolitan Pennant Finals season almost every year with the culmination of our first ever Metropolitan Pennant Flag (the big one) by our 2015/16 division 6 side – which was proudly followed up by our division 5 side winning the Metropolitan Pennant Flag in the 2016/17 season. In the 2017/2018 season all four pennant teams participated in finals. The following year 2018/2019 we won Midweek Div 5 flag and another one in 2021/22 winning the Saturday Div 3 Flag.
We always welcome new or experienced bowlers, social or visitors. Every Thursday afternoon during Pennant season or at any time, you may find some friendly members on the green eager to introduce you to the game.
We now have Two Bowls Australia Accredited coaches available for Individual and Group coaching, for new bowlers to learn the techniques of lawn bowls or to hone your skills as an existing bowler. Please contact the Bowls Club or Epping RSL for more information.
Membership fees for the 2024/2025 season are:
Adults: $200
Juniors (Under 18): Free
New Members: (First year only) : Membership fee waived (Conditions apply)
Membership fees include Bowls Victoria affiliation fees, Greens fee for both weekend and Midweek Pennant games and all blub Championship.
Please note that all members of the Epping Bowls Club must also become members of the RSL Sub-Branch either existing or by joining the Epping RSL Sub Branch.
Social Bowls is played on Saturdays commencing at 12.30pm through the months of May to August weather permitting.

The Club has entered teams into the Bowls Victoria Pennant Competition on Saturday and Mid-Week Comps. The number of our pennant teams playing for Epping bowls club are wholly dependent on player numbers.
We have pennant shirts, jackets and caps available for sale through the Bowls CLub.
